Virginia High School Volleyball - Caroline over James Monroe

The Caroline Cavaliers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spotsylvania for a Battlefield outing on Tuesday, October 8. Caroline will play a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Knights record now stands at 1-18.

With the loss, James Monroe drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 5-7. Essex lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA)
