Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL) and the visiting Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL), observed W.S. Neal's volleyball team top Chickasaw by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Blacksher (Uriah, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league bout with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Blacksher fell by Excel (Excel, AL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Chickasaw drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Chieftains host LeFlore (Mobile, AL) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Rattlers come into the bout with a record of 1-8.
