In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Chilhowie Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Holston Cavaliers.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Castlewood lost by Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Holston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA).
