In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Cocalico Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Manheim Central Barons.

The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, Ephrata lost by Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Barons encounter the Eastern York Golden Knights (Wrightsville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. Manheim Central will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Golden Knights go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA).
