North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wake Academy over Wake Prep Academy

October 3, 2024: Wake Forest, NC 27587

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) and the host Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC), observed East Wake Academy's volleyball team top Wake Prep Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eno River (Hillsborough, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Eno River notched a victory over Voyager (Durham, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Guardians meet the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A contest, on Monday, October 7. Wake Prep Academy will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Firebirds enter the contest with a 18-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
