In Thursday's league challenge, the host Newberry Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Engadine Eagles.
The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Negaunee lost by Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Engadine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record.
