Texas High School Volleyball - Fort Bend Hightower tips Fort Bend Elkins

The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) volleyball nudged the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Hurricanes now have a 18-12 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, October 8. Fort Bend Hightower will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 16-12.

With the loss, Fort Bend Elkins drops to 11-22 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 17-17. Santa Fe won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Ball (Galveston, TX)
