The Newfound Regional Bears topped the visiting Franklin Tornadoes volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bears confront the Mascenic Regional Vikings (New Ipswich, NH) in a Division III game, on Friday, October 11. Newfound Regional will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record.
The Tornadoes (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH). The Lakers go into the Division III game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Inter-Lakes gained a win over Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH), 3-0, in a league game.
