Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA) and the host Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA), observed Katella's volleyball team top Garden Grove by a tally of 3-0.

The Knights (13-18) will now prepare for their contest against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Orange Coast contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Godinez Fundamental was beaten by Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Argonauts meet the Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA) in a Orange Coast contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Garden Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Coyotes enter the contest with a 8-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA).
