With the win, Taylorsville improves its record to 3-16 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 11-6. Hillcrest won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Tooele (Tooele, UT)

The Lancers now own a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kearns for a 5A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, October 8. Granger will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 5-9.
