Virginia High School Volleyball - Greensville County overwhelmed by Southampton

The Southampton Indians topped the visiting Greensville County Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Indians face the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 7. Southampton will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Altavista (Altavista, VA).

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Sussex Central (Sussex, VA). The Tigers go into the Tri-Rivers game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Sussex Central went down by Surry County (Dendron, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
