Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) and the visiting Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY), observed Raceland's volleyball team hold off Greenup County by a count of 3-2.

The Rams (16-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions enter the District 63 contest with a 1-19 record. In their last contest, Lewis County was tipped by Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Musketeers battle the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Greenup County will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 6-15 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY).
