In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hazlehurst Indians.
The Blue Waves (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-12 record.
Next, the Indians play the Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Hazlehurst will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.
