The Heritage Hurricanes volleyball squad (Newport News, VA), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA)

With the win, Phoebus improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Phantoms travel to Bethel (Hampton, VA) to encounter the Bruins in a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 7-4.

The Hurricanes now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchland for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Heritage will encounter a Truckers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Truckers record now stands at 4-10.
