In Thursday's non-league match, the Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) volleyball squad prevailed the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), by a final score of 2-0.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a South Eastern - Red match, on Tuesday, October 8. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 14-11 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bedford (Temperance, MI).

The Railsplitters (7-22) will now prepare for their match against Blissfield (Blissfield, MI). The Royals enter the non-league match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Blissfield was dropped by Ida (Ida, MI), 3-2, in a league match.
