The Mayfield Cubs (Pasadena, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 20-7 record. They play next when they travel to Long Beach Poly for a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. Mayfield will clash with a Jackrabbits team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jordan (Long Beach, CA). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 17-10.
With the loss, Rio Hondo Prep drops to 19-20 on the campaign. The Kares travel to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a Prep bout on Tuesday, October 15. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 17-6.
