Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID) and the host Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), observed South Fremont's volleyball team top Sugar-Salem by a count of 3-1.

The Cougars (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Teton (Driggs, ID). The Timberwolves enter the 3A Mountain Rivers contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Teton was knocked off by Ririe (Ririe, ID), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Diggers meet the Teton Timberwolves (Driggs, ID) in a 3A Mountain Rivers contest, on Thursday, October 10. Sugar-Salem will attempt to move on its 15-10 season record.
