In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South River Rams.
The Pirates (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Big Red come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record.
Next, the Rams play the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams (Edison, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. South River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 league win over New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ).
