New Jersey High School Football - Becton sneaks past Lyndhurst

The Becton Wildcats football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Lyndhurst Golden Bears to 13 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garfield for a North Jersey - Colonial challenge on Friday, October 10. Becton will face a Boilermakers team coming off a 34-6 league win over Lodi (Lodi, NJ). The Boilermakers record now stands at 4-2.
The Golden Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Crusaders enter the North Jersey - Colonial challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Elmwood Park was edged by Palisades Park/Leonia (Palisades Park, NJ), 26-12, in a league game.
