Texas High School Football - Sands defeated by Borden County

In Friday's non-league game, the Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) football team were victorious over the host Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), by a tally of 52-43.

In their next game, the Coyotes face the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 3 (6 Man) outing, on Friday, October 10. Borden County will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 58-26 non-league loss to Grady (Lenorah, TX).

With the defeat, Sands drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Motley County (Matador, TX) to clash with the Matadors in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Matadors come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Motley County won 54-0 in their recent non-league bout against Petersburg (Petersburg, TX)
