Iowa High School Football - Carlisle can't hold off Gilbert

The Gilbert Tigers got by the visiting Carlisle Wildcats football team by a score of 14-13 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ballard for a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 10. Gilbert will face a Bombers team coming off a 56-14 league win over Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 1-5.
The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays go into the 4A District 5 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Bondurant-Farrar was edged by North Polk (Alleman, IA), 47-7, in a league challenge.
