The Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin Raiders held off the host Mesabi East Giants football squad by a margin of 26-22 in Friday's league test.
The Raiders now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Moose Lake/Willow River for a Northeast - Blue test on Thursday, October 9. Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin will face a Rebels team coming off a 62-6 league win over Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 6-0.
The Giants (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against International Falls (International Falls, MN). The Broncos enter the Northeast - Blue challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, International Falls held off Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN), 49-15, in a league challenge.
