The Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) football triumphed over the host Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 58-0 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a 1A District 7 game, on Friday, October 10. Middlesboro will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 48-8 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY).
The Green Dragons (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Thomas Walker was trounced by Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN), 48-6, in a non-league game.
