Texas High School Football - Southwest Legacy toppled by Nixon

The Southwest Legacy Titans football team (Von Ormy, TX), dropped 34-15 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX)

With the win, Nixon advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Winn (Eagle Pass, TX) to encounter the Mavericks in a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 bout on Friday, October 10. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Winn won 21-18 in their recent league bout against Cigarroa (Laredo, TX)

The Titans now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Martin for a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 bout on Thursday, October 9. Southwest Legacy will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 21-14 league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
