The Shenango Wildcats got by the host Rochester Rams football squad by a margin of 13-12 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Laurel for a WPIAL A Big 7 test on Friday, October 10. Shenango will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 63-8 league win over Summit Academy (Herman, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Rochester drops to 0-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Cornell (Coraopolis, PA) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Cornell lost 56-20 in their recent league challenge against Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA)
