Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA), 31-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Sylmar improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 4-10. Bishop Alemany lost 33-0 in their recent non-league match against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA)

Next, the Wolves meet the Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA) in a Valley Mission test, on Thursday, October 16. Van Nuys will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
