The Blanchester Wildcats nipped the visiting Georgetown G-Men soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now hold a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. Blanchester will face a Hurricane team coming off a 7-0 league loss to New Richmond (New Richmond, OH). The Hurricane record now stands at 1-11.

The G-Men (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Clark Montessori (Cincinnati, OH). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Clark Montessori was nudged by Purcell Marian (Cincinnati, OH), 1-0, in a league challenge.
