The Spackenkill Spartans soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Dover Dragons to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Bush for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. Spackenkill will face a Bushmen team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Hempstead, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 9-1.

The Dragons (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) game with a 0-7 record.
