In Friday's non-league contest, the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties (Williamstown, MA) soccer team routed the visiting Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA), by a margin of 4-0.
The Mounties now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsfield for a Berkshire County challenge on Monday, October 6. Mount Greylock Regional will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA). The Generals record now stands at 2-1.
The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Thunder enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
