The Dimond Lynx volleyball squad (Anchorage, AK), was edged 2-1 in Friday's league battle with the host South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK)

With the win, South Anchorage improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Colony (Palmer, AK) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Lynx now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a contest on Tuesday, October 7. Dimond will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-2.
