The William Penn Charter Quakers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils to 0 in the Quakers league victory on Friday.
The Quakers now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haverford School for a Inter-Academic game on Tuesday, October 7. William Penn Charter will face a Fords team coming off a 1-0 league win over Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA). The Fords record now stands at 8-2.
The Blue Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Churchmen come into the Inter-Academic bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Episcopal Academy nudged Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA), 1-0, in a league bout.
