Colorado High School Softball - Lewis-Palmer knocked off by Cheyenne Mountain

October 3, 2025: Monument, CO 80132

The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks overwhelmed the host Lewis-Palmer Rangers softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Red-Tailed Hawks meet the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Monday, October 6. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Thunder come into the battle with a 6-14 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO).

With the loss, Lewis-Palmer moves to 2-18 on the season. The Rangers host Lutheran (Parker, CO) to encounter the Lions in a 4A Pikes Peak battle on Monday, October 6. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 16-4. Lutheran won 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Erie (Erie, CO)
