The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Wister Wildcats (Wister, OK) and the visiting Hydro-Eakly Bobcats (Hydro, OK), saw Wister's softball squad nip Hydro-Eakly by a score of 5-4.
With the triumph, Wister improves its record to 21-10 on the year.
The Bobcats now hold a 21-13 record. They play next when they host Quinton for a Class A contest on Friday, October 3. Hydro-Eakly will face a Savages squad coming off a 12-4 league win over Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK). The Savages record now stands at 20-13.
