The Artesia Bulldogs topped the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers volleyball team by a tally of 3-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Artesia will play a Sartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Albuquerque Academy drops to 7-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Vikings in a 4A District 6 game on Tuesday, October 7. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 8-7. Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
