Texas High School Volleyball - George Ranch over Alief Taylor

In Friday's league challenge, the host George Ranch Longhorns volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alief Taylor Lions.

The Longhorns (21-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Bears come into the 6A Region III District 20 challenge with a 4-20 record. In their last challenge, Alief Hastings was beaten by Foster (Richmond, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, October 7. Alief Taylor will attempt to advance on its 6-24 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 2-22 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX).
