The Alpena Leopards volleyball squad (Alpena, AR), was defeated 3-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles (Mountain Home, AR)

The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Salem was beaten by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Leopards meet the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a 2A 2 test, on Tuesday, October 7. Alpena will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Timberwolves go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR).
