Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) and the host Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA), observed Santa Margarita's volleyball team hold off Chaminade by a tally of 2-1.

The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Skyview (Nampa, ID). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Skyview tipped Boise (Boise, ID), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyview for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Chaminade will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Boise (Boise, ID). The Hawks record now stands at 16-4.
