With the win, Christ the Cornerstone Academy advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Defenders travel to Antioch Christian Academy (Lumberton, NC) to play the Gators in a CCAA challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Antioch Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC)

Next, the Lions play the Father Capodanno Grunts (Vass, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. Sandhills Classical Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record.
