In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gananda Central Blue Panthers.

The Golden Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY). The Cougars come into the Section 5 Wayne County challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last game, North Rose-Wolcott was dropped by East Rochester (East Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Gananda Central drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Blue panthers travel to Lyons (Lyons, NY) to play the Lions in a Section 5 Wayne County outing on Monday, October 6. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 11-3. Lyons won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Sodus (Sodus, NY)
