The Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) volleyball were victorious over the host Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Owls now possess a 19-12 record. They play next when they host Jourdanton for a 3A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, October 7. Hondo will clash with a Indians/Squaws team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Indians/Squaws record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Dilley drops to 5-16 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Lytle (Lytle, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 9-21. Lytle lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX)
