In Friday's league match, the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 30 match, on Tuesday, October 7. Medina Valley will attempt to move on its 18-17 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 24-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Del Rio (Del Rio, TX).
