In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Loretto Angels volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the El Paso Leadership Academy East Leaders.

With the win, Loretto advances its record to 9-12 on the season. The Angels travel to Americas (El Paso, TX) to play the Trail Blazers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Trail Blazers come into the outing with a record of 16-15. Americas lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against El Dorado (El Paso, TX)

With the loss, El Paso Leadership Academy East drops to 8-6 on the campaign.
