The Vistamar Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Aviators to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host New Roads for a Coastal outing on Tuesday, October 7. Vistamar will play a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-9.

The Aviators (6-10) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy gained a win over St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
