The Kearsarge Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats to 1 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Mascoma for a Division III outing on Wednesday, October 8. Kearsarge will play a Royals team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Royals record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Hillsboro-Deering drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Hillcats host Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH) to confront the Lakers in a Division III match on Monday, October 6. The Lakers enter the match with a record of 11-0. Inter-Lakes won 3-0 in their recent league match against Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH)
