With the win, Jasper improves its record to 28-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-17. Tuscaloosa County won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hale County (Moundville, AL)

Next, the Senators meet the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Sparkman will attempt to upgrade on its 23-15 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 24-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hoover (Hoover, AL).
