Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) and the visiting Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR), observed Joseph's volleyball team top Stanfield by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Cougars enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Wallowa was knocked off by Elgin (Elgin, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Tigers meet the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain contest, on Saturday, October 4. Stanfield will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heppner (Heppner, OR).
