New Mexico High School Volleyball - Legacy Academy over Mesilla Valley Christian School

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) volleyball knocked off the host Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM), 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Silverbacks now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Crownpoint for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. Legacy Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Mesilla Valley Christian School drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Sonblazers travel to New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to battle the Colts in a non-league match on Thursday, October 9. The Colts enter the match with a record of 8-5. New Mexico Military Institute lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM)
