With the win, Little Cypress-Mauriceville advances its record to 32-7 on the season. The Bears host Silsbee (Silsbee, TX) to face the Tigers in a 4A Region III District 18 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 14-10. Silsbee lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX)

Next, the Mustangs play the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. West Orange-Stark will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 28-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Vidor (Vidor, TX).
