Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Shoemaker Wolves (Killeen, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Midway improves its record to 24-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bryan (Bryan, TX) to play the Vikings in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 13-25. Bryan lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX)

Next, the Wolves play the Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Shoemaker will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record.
