In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Virginia City Muckers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mineral County Serpents.
The Muckers (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV). The Rams come into the 1A Western challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 0-0, in a league game.
The Serpents (6-19) will now prepare for their game against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Scorpions go into the 1A Western game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Sage Ridge gained a win over Virginia City (Virginia City, NV), 3-2, in a league game.
